I agree with you Nick that Hair Band Rock never really died out completely, per se, but it did take a big hit in the early 90's when Grunge was on the rise. The larger name Hair Bands as you mentioned did survive and are still touring successfully today which I'm sure most members on this site are thankful for. The Grunge movement weeded out some of the smaller name Hair Bands but the big name Hair Bands continue to rock on!

Hi, I just discovered this site thanks to Lacey. I love Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and can't go a day without it!! I am an artist who does drawings and paintings. I also make videos using all the great music from the past and present. Music is my passion and I love combining it with everything I do. I am excited to be amoungst other head bangers and am sooooo glad the music will never die or even fade away. It will always be alive and have new fans everyday. Why? Because it's some of the best music out there. Thanks for the invite Lacey, glad to be here!! Rockers Roll On!!!!

I've been involved in the music scene for too many years in too many different capacities. I've done everything from being a promoter, working security, being a roadie, and am currently a music journalist and internet radio DJ. It could be said that music is my passion.

The 80's some of the best times of my life, at least the ones I remember. I have lived on the east coast for most of my life, except for the last half of the 80s. In 1985 I moved to LA to live the rock n roll life style. I saw many of these bands before they "made it". It was great times. I am just glad the music still lives on.
